Jessica Pavelka, MS, LPC, NCC, RYT is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania and a Nationally Certified Counselor awarded by the National Board for Certified Counselors, Inc. and Affiliates (NBCC). Ms. Pavelka holds a Master’s in Counseling and Mental Health earned by the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education’s executive program.
With years spent as a therapist, crisis counselor and researcher, she began treating adults and families privately. In 2016 she founded Jessica Pavelka Counseling, LLC and practices Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction and Instinctual —Natural Meditation at her private practice in Society Hill, Philadelphia, PA. In addition to her clinical credentials, Ms. Pavelka has been awarded several certifications for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM), holistic counseling, trauma-informed mental health yoga, mindfulness, and meditation. Her studying began in 2009 and she then received her 200-hour vinyasa yoga in the ashtanga tradition teaching certification in 2016 from Dhyana Yoga. Since completion, she has taught vinyasa yoga, mindful movement, and meditation at yoga studios across the East coast. She has served her local community and cancer survivors at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Now a meditation teacher trainee with Dr. Lorin Roche for Instinctive Meditation, Ms. Pavelka is an expert in bridging psychology with holistic healing.
